Examinations are a built-in tool to test the knowledge assimilated by a child. In Question Paper the following criteria is taken: Understanding, Knowledge and Application. Promotion will be granted on the basis of the Unit Test examination marks, as well as the performance of the whole year. The decision of the school authorities in the matter of promotion is final. On report card Grades/Ranks will be assigned on 10 point scale.Classes VI to X
We follow a new scheme of Central Board of Secondary Education pattern. The classes VI-VIII is Term assessment basis. In each term, there will be Assessments and Examination. The students would also be assessed and graded upon life style, attitude and values. The participation in school activities and the voluntary work done by the student will also be reflected in the Performance Record.
a. A student must obtain a minimum of 33% to be granted promotion. They should pass separately in theory and practical.
b. To be eligible for retest, a student should obtain at least 25% in the given subject.
c. All must answer all the examinations. There will be neither anticipation nor postponement of any of the test or examinations nor will a re-examination be held.
d. Absence from an examination or test without sufficient reason is a serious breach of discipline and will be considered tantamount to failure.
e. Parents are expected to sign, after perusal the Progress Reports that are sent out and to return to the class teacher as early as possible.
f. Promotion will be granted on the basis of the Assessment and Examination marks, as well as the performance of the whole year. The decision of the school authorities in the matter of promotion is final.
g. Cases of failure will not be considered. Answer papers will not be shown. A pupil who fails twice in the same class must discontinue his/her studies from this school.
The report card will reflect only the Grades & Grade Point based on an 8 -point scale as given below:
